The role of the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition works in partnership with the VP of Talent Acquisition, Central Office and Community Leaders, HR Business Partners, and Digital Marketing to develop and implement best-in-class talent acquisition and new hire solutions. This position directly impacts talent recruiting, sourcing, metrics, and business processes. The role leads a team of recruiters who build talent pools and hire top-talent for healthcare, dining services and various other roles. The position is responsible for executing the strategy for optimizing talent acquisition through automation, tools and recruiting processes; building sourcing and recruiting capabilities of the team to drive candidate focused recruiting outcomes; and recruiting for senior-level roles for the organization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Serves as a subject matter expert in all subjects related to recruitment in the Healthcare / Senior Services Industry.

  • Manages and develops recruiting capabilities among a team of full-cycle recruiters.

  • Manages change or recruiting process with workflows and / or technology.

  • Needs to be action oriented and forward thinking.

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with business leaders, HR Business Partners, external search partners, external vendors, and organizations to produce positive outcomes and predictable results.

  • Uses data and analytics to influence change through storytelling and taking action to address needs.

  • Researches and evaluates sourcing strategies to build recruiter capabilities for finding active and passive candidates and building talent pipelines in support of organizational goals and objectives.

  • Holds the recruiting team and HR accountable for adhering to standard operating processes and achieving goals.

  • Will maintain a requisition load and conduct searches for senior level positions across the organization.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree

Certificate(s): Certifications in related areas are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience leading recruiting teams
  • High volume recruiting experience preferred
  • Driving continuous improvement and leading change management across a multi-location organization
  • Achieving and exceeding goals

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Ability to stay abreast of changing markets, recruiting trends, and utilization of technology and AI in recruiting
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead high-performing teams
  • Critical thinking and ability to use good judgment to solve problems
  • Proven ability to use data and analytics to tell a story and influence change
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and responsive in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Bookings, and Outlook)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
